This is a replacement power supply for MKL-2500's that were originally sold at Guitar Centers with Chinese power supplys. If the microphone has a serial number, it was made in Russia by Oktava, but had an inferior Chinese power supply. This typically caused a hum in the microphone signal. Additionally, the supplied cable was also of Chinese manufacture and contributed to the problem.

This replacement power supply will upgrade an MKL-2500 microphone to the original Russian specifications, eliminating the "hum". Includes the power supply and power lead cable.
